West Rim
Developed in the mid-1980's, West Rim is a small family oriented community located in Austin, Texas, on the west side of the Loop 360 Bridge which spans Lake Austin. Situated on both sides of the prestigious Westlake Drive, West Rim is home to 94 families and includes a beautiful and private Lake Austin waterfront homeowner's park.
Unlike many neighboring communities, each home in West Rim has it's own unique look and personality. Most properties in West Rim are at least a 3/4 acre lot, with some residential lots as large as 3 acres. Mature native Live Oak trees are abundant throughout the neighborhood and are considered one of the our greatest assets.
West Rim falls within the boundaries of the esteemed Eanes Independent School District. Eanes ISD has earned its well deserved reputation for excellence in academics. In the 2000-2001 school year, eight of the nine campuses were given "Exemplary" ratings, and seven of the nine campuses were given the "U.S. Blue Ribbon Schools" award.
With its great reputation as a family neighborhood, the abundance of children, excellent schools and wonderful social activities, it's no wonder real estate agents call West Rim a "Leave It To Beaver" neighborhood. That's okay with us, as long as we can call it "home".
